Malayalam is a Dravidian language spoken predominantly in the Indian state of Kerala and Lakshadweep, as well as by Malayali communities worldwide. In addition to its rich literary heritage, Malayalam also boasts a vibrant film industry known as Mollywood which produces numerous critically acclaimed movies every year.
