Tsonga, also known as Xitsonga, is a Bantu language spoken by approximately 4.5 million people in Southern Africa. It belongs to the Tsonga-Tswa branch of the Niger-Congo language family and has several dialects including Shangaan and Ronga. The majority of Tsonga speakers reside in Mozambique, South Africa (especially Limpopo Province), Swaziland, Zimbabwe, and Malawi.
